On January 6th, the college held a video conference with Tanzania Animal Husbandry Training Center. Li Xuetai, deputy secretary of the Party committee and President of the college, attended the meeting. Dr. Pius Mwabe, chief executive of Tanzanian Animal Husbandry Training Center, Palija Luyobia, Dean of Education, Zuberi Muhammad, director of Academic Quality Assurance Center, Flavian Kapumbe, director of Research and Consulting Office, and Moses Panjisa, director of Information and Communication Technology center attended the meeting.
President Li Xuetai introduced the basic information of the college and the progress of international education in recent years. He hoped that both sides would cooperate sincerely to jointly carry out the cultivation of agricultural and animal husbandry technical talents and teachers training. He hoped also that our college could set up an overseas branch in Tanzania animal husbandry training center to jointly develop and share teaching standards, curriculum standards and education and teaching resources to help the development of animal husbandry in Tanzania.
Dr. Pius Mwabe introduced the overview of the center, hoping to strengthen cooperation in joint training of students, school running and online training, introduce Chinese high-quality teaching resources, train teachers for the animal husbandry training center, provide facilities support for students' practice and training, and improve the teaching conditions of the training center.
At the meeting, the two sides reached a preliminary intention to sign the cooperation agreement and decided that they would actively promote the implementation of cooperation projects as soon as possible. The heads of Academic Affair Office, the School of Animal Science and Technology, the School of Animal Medicine and the Office of International Exchanges and Cooperation attended the meeting.
