SVASVC commemorated its first Comprehensive Performance Scholarship Distribution Ceremony in the conference room of the 3rd floor of No.3 teaching building on March 14th. Mr. Han, director of Students affairs office, Distinguished Professor Ahrar Khan, some international students management teachers, 41 international students and 6 Pakistan exchange students were present at the event.
In his speech, Mr Han congratulated the successful students on achieving scholarships and thanked teachers for their hard work. International students’ arrival made our campus more colorful, more energetic. They have already become members of our college. During only several months, they have studied hard, made many friends, and their Chinese has been greatly improved. He encouraged the students, as bridge between China and their countries, to continue their hard work, respect college’s regulations and be grateful.
Academically bright students were conferred scholarship certificates by Mr Han and Professor Ahrar Khan. A group photo was taken to mark this occasion. According to International students management regulations and students’ academic and daily performance, there are 24 students who were awarded scholarships: 4 students awarded the first prize, 8 students the second prize and 12 students the third prize.
